It was bath time and Bobby was excited. Bobby loved taking baths because he could play with his toys in the tub.

The bathwater was warm and sudsy.   Bobby’s mommy added extra bubble soap and Bobby liked that. He had lots and lots of bath toys.  His Mommy told him to watch out for any bubblers in the bath, but Bobby wasn't sure what she meant.

Bobby got ready for his bath and stepped into the tub.  As he stepped into his bath, the bubbles tickled his legs. He sat down carefully into the warm sudsy water and wiggled each of his toes to make sure they were completely underwater. “Yep”, his toes were covered and he had lots and lots of bubbles too.

As he reached for his bar of soap he suddenly, let out a huge Bubbler. “Oops.” he giggled. To his delight, his bubbler created a huge bubble that popped onto the water surface right behind him, grew bigger with the sudsy water, and then the bubble took flight. The bubble magically floated over the tub and then it exploded. Water sprinkled into the tub and onto Bobby. He clapped and laughed out loud.

Bobby looked around and bubbles were now popping out of the bathwater. One bubble bumped into another bubble and then another popped up. One was so huge, it caught one of his toy cars and began to float up and up around the bathroom. Bobby looked up and laughed. Then another bubbler popped into the tub. Bobby thought this was the best bath he had ever had.  He was surrounded by lots of soapy bubbles and bubbler bubbles. Some big and some small. Pop. Pop. Pop.

Bobby picked up his squirt gun and began shooting at the bubbles. Aim and squirt. Pop and plunk the toy dropped into the tub and splashed Bobby. Another toy was captured in a bubble and floated up. There was a car, a plane, a boat, and even a little yellow duck.  Before Bobby knew it all his toys were floating above and around the bathtub.

Bobby refilled his squirt gun. He squirted and watched the bubbles pop. Plunk. Splash. Plunk. Splash. The toy fell into the water. Slowly all the toys were back where they belonged….. in the water. Bobby was out of bubblers and his mommy was none the wiser.

Oh, well, time to finish his bath.
